The Target
Global migration to Windows as a Service (>100.000 clients) and implementation of an evergreen approach within the organization
The Challenge
Development of a toolbox for the “noiseless” preparation and implementation of the migration; intensive and early involvement of the users to create acceptance and optimize the migration process
Global migration to Windows as a Service (>100,000 clients) and implementation of an evergreen approach within the organization
Development of a toolbox for the “silent” preparation and implementation of the migration; intensive and early involvement of the users to create acceptance and optimisation of the migration process
We organized the roll-out of Windows as a Service (WaaS) with a scope of>20,000 workstation devices for a global enterprise, including prior coordination of organizational (e.g., service provider management) and technical workflows (e.g., workstation, infrastructure, and application readiness). In addition, a standardized deployment procedure and a roll-in communication toolbox were developed.
Early involvement of global stakeholders
Derivation of a tool-based approach for Windows migration
Establishment of a sustainable and scalable project infrastructure for communication and change management
